    Pitching Meter Flashes Yellow

Not sure anyone has noticed this or spoken about it.

On occasion, the two lines at the top of the pitching meter that denote the edges of the strike zone, will turn yellow as you begin your motion back towards the aiming marker. At first, i thought it might show you that you added extra effort to the pitch by pushing up faster, and were using more of your stamina. But with testing, that was not the case.

Can anyone expand on why or what this means?

I was wondering this too. I thought it lit up if you overthrew it.

If it's like the regular meter - The more you pitch good batter to batter your meter turns yellow making it easier to hit your "mark"
Once your "string" of good performance starts going down the yellow "swet" area disappears.
IF im correct.. I never really paid attention to it with analog really so could be way off on this one

I noticed it as well... maybe it means you hit your spot?

It means you hit the white line going down on the pitching meter. What that means is that it will "guide" you to the ball trace at the location you are trying to hit. It essentially is rewarding you

Not that I would dispute your claims, but I thought this as well.

However, on further inspection, I see that the yellow markers will light when not totally hitting the white line on the pitch meter. In fact, I sometimes miss the white line on purpose in order to get a bit more sink on the ball, or keep it out of the zone I am aiming it, and I can see the yellow show up on occasion...

This is NOT a "Hey Developer" thread", but it is also not a "Let me give you my guess at it" thread either.

They had to have made that meter do this for a reason, and I am just looking for the reasoning behind it. Also, when the pitcher's confidence begins to rise, and he really gets into the zone, does the meter reflect this with a larger white aiming stripe?

And if the poster above is indeed correct, do the yellow markers actually guide you to the spot you are aiming at, or does it give you a reward assuming you hit the spot on your own?

I realize I could wait for the retail version, and explore the owner's manual brimming with answers and chock full of info...

Hence the reason I ask here.

If your pitcher gets roughed up you will lose that yellowish bar at the bottom and if your pitcher is in a groove the bar will thicken. Basically working just like the release point in the current pitching meter."

                    Just found it, thanks....
