Re: 30 team franchisers.
If you could clarify a bit more, are you saying that if a trade is proposed on the 30th, it very well could be approved after the 31st?Comment

Re: 30 team franchisers.
Knight, or anyone for that matter, is there any way to alter the contract years/amounts before franchise starts? If I remember correcly from last year we could change this. And by the way Knight, thanks for always having answers and being patient with people on here who ask the same questions over and over, myself included sometimes.Comment

Re: 30 team franchisers.
I've tried this over and over and I can't get it to work. Do I need to do this in my franchise? Or can I do it from the roster in the main menu?Comment

Re: 30 team franchisers.
Work around, I guess, is release the players you want to resign to fa in roster management, load that roster with your franchise and then sign them in spring training to the salary and years you want.Comment

yes, simply load the rosters you are going to use for franchise. Release the player(s) that you want to address and resign until desired contract is signed. Again all of this is done at the roster control menuNCAA- GO VOLS

Re: 30 team franchisers.
No...maybe I didn't explain it right. Last year if we went into roster management and swapped a player to the FA list and then swapped him back to his team, the salary and years would change, usually randomly. So if you did it enough you would get close to what you wanted.**(I believe this is what Hustlin was eluding to, if not I apologize)
This year that doesn't seem to work, at least I couldn't get it to.
So I am suggesting take the players you want to change contracts for and release them all to FA. SAVE Roster. Now load a 30 team franchise. Now go to each team and resign each player.Comment

That appears to not be the case this year though.BTW, what does the player contracts look like signing FA's how you stated in comparison to how we could do it last year? Do the FA's still accept the same salary range? Thanks!

Re: 30 team franchisers.
Well one way I just figured out to work around the trade thing is to turn trades to manual so the cpu doesnt make any trades and then turn it on like right after the all star game and just check the pending trades like every 4 days. Is there a way for the cpu to control emails to the teams that you don't to control instead of having to read through all 30 teams emails. That little blinking email light in the corner just gets annoyingComment

You can leave them on and check that everyday and just step in and decline or let it go through.

Re: 30 team franchisers.
Alright so I got everything set up with the custom profiles and such with the manual/auto etc... But for whatever reason I cannot get the cpu from keeping the lineups and roster moves I had set up, as soon as I end spring training they take over and put people on waivers, call up/send down, change the lineups and I have these things set to Manual...
Is it just me or something I'm not doing right
By the way on the franchise mode options at the beginning I chose:
Fantasy draft - off
Cpu roster control - off
-cpu trading - on
-instant trades - off
-ignore budgets - off
Force trades - off
DH - auto
Anyone get their lineups and stuff to stick from the main menu roster control and get it to stick once you bring them over to Franchise modeComment
