In-game ticker question

I just started my franchise and ive played a few games and in every game when the ticker comes up it shows no other games currently playing and the score of my game saying final in the far corner where the inning should be. Im using 30 team control to negate the 2013 issues so that might be it but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem before putting it in the bugs/glitches thread?

You have to sim the other games before you go into yours
On the sched screeen...
VIEW TODAY'S GAMES...
Hit on each one and simulate(figure a way to not see the scores....)...
Don't SIM YOURS!
Then play your game...the ticker will update the games as if they are in progress.

Is the ingame ticker just in Franchise mode or is it in Rtts as well? Didn't so far in Rtts, but still in AA.

Does anyone know whether it features in Rtts once you hit the show?
