anyone have a "good" player on your team that you just can't hit with?

For me it's Jay Bruce. I'm 14 games into my season and I just can't get anything going with him. He's currently hitting .122(5 for 41) with no HR, no XBH, no RBI's and only one walk. I took a look around the league to see if it was just me pressing with him, but the computer is having trouble with a few "good" players as well.

Adam Dunn is 3 for 43 with a double and no RBI's.

Justin Upton for Arizona is just 1 for 43 or .023 if you prefer. At least his one hit was a Grand Slam though.

On a different topic, I thought someone might find it interesting to know the Angels have started 13-0. I just thought that was funny considering the argument in the team rankings thread about the Angels being too low.

On my Red Sox Franchise the one player i have trouble with is Youkilis, dont know why i just cant hit with him, but dont have any stats to through out there.

all i can say is that i've only hit one homer with him all season, compared to the multitude of home runs i've hit with Gonzalez, and Ortiz ive even hit more with JD Drew

      Does Brett Gardner count?

      I can't hit with him.

Ryan Howard, esp. against LHP. Frustrating as hell.

Mike Stanton, even though technically he hasn't even played a full season and could end up being a huge bust this year anyway.

              Paul Konerko

0-22 to start the year. I don't know why but I pull every pitch right to the SS.

I'm not doin' so hot with Rolen either, hitting .198, but he does have a couple homeruns already. Phillips on the other hand is tearing the cover off the ball. Hitting .400 with 6 HR and 13 RBI's through 13.5 games.

                    Jeter...cant hit worth a ****. Batting .089 first 9 games.
Thinking of putting him in the 9 hole. He won rookie of the year batting there.

Last year it was Howard, this year it's Utley. I am killing the ball with Howard this year.

david wright through 12 franchise games is doing bad for me. he's hitting like 205 with 1 HR. on the other hand jason bay is batting about 385 with 7 HR's.

i think a lot of it is the batting stance. some stances you just hit better with because you feel comfortable. for example, I love ike davis' stance so much that I use it with my RTTS player.
