Thanks for all of the input. I think I found camera 9 to work best for me and will use it when I start my season. Thanks again, you are all very helpful

Yep I tinkered with a bunch of different camera angles and too have come to like catcher 9 the best for judging balls and strikes. I like the wide view the best for seeing the stadiums but I can't pick up the low pitches.

Thanks for posting these. I'm using pretty much the exact same thing, only difference is that I'm zoomed in just a tad more. This is great for Analog batting, and just overall pitch recognition.

Wide 2

Catcher cams all make the pitcher appear too close. Wide/Wide Offset are zoomed too far back, making it hard to read balls/strikes. Wide 3 is too low making it hard to determine pitch speed. Wide 2 sits low enough to see the strike zone but high enough to see the pitches coming into the zone and not just hitting the zone.

i fall pray to high cheese... just like hitters in real life. the straight an fast fools gold of white orb coming in and I pop it up or swing and miss more than I'd like. what cam would work well? i dont think any of the lower level cams where the view is from a squatting catcher would be good...maybe a hitter chest level cam would work, set to offset to by some more time in reading a pitch?

I too loved me some high heat. I swung at everything high as long as it was down the middle third of the plate. That is, until I switched to Catcher 7. Now, I don't even check swing at borderline high pitches; which gets me struck out from time to time. But I love getting the backwards K on borderline pitches versus swinging at anything and everything high.
