TIme to Give Real-Time Presentation Some Time?

Since RealTime presentation was introduced it hasnt gotten any attention.
I would love to see that mode added to this year.

My biggest complaint is that you dont get any of the overlays [non batter walk-up] when you use this mode.

The cut scenes to me are getting old fast but I cant bring myself to use realtime because u get no tv presentation whatsoever when using that.

I dont know. Wonder why they wont give us the option to have banners with RTP.

i agree 100%. i love the RTP because there are little to none of those annoying white flashes, but deal with it because so many of the nuances are gone with broadcast...ah well, like you said maybe next year it will get the attention it deserves.

i hafta disagree... i really enjoy RTP because of the organic feel to it... it's not like some poorly animated sprite in the corner looping the same animation over and over...

What presentations do we lose exactly with RTP? We still get the ticker correct? Plus the overlays during walkups. What else?

I do agree that presentation needs to be the focus next year though, centered around a broadcast feel and expanded animations/emotion with RTP.

Not true. You'll get all of that with RTP if you have replays turned on. What you won't get are the cutscenes between plays, such as when a runner reaches base and has a conversation with the 1B coach or guys brushing themselves off after stealing a base.

You won't see flashbacks to HRs hit earlier in the game by a certain player or the Topps pitch speed comparison, but pretty much everything else is there.

I used RTP exclusively in MLB 10 and enjoyed it, but am using Broadcast this year for a change of pace since RTP isn't changed much from 10. You will see different HR trots this year; last year EVERYONE did the same thing where they'd round the bases holding onto their batting helmet.

Yeah, Ortiz did a different trot on two different HRs in the same game with Broadcast. Was cool to see!

Yah, that's definitely not true... I've been using RTP w/Replay for about three days now and I've gotten all that stuff.

Like DJ said, what you miss out on is all the tv style overlays.

You could always just switch it up every now and again so one kind of presentation doesn't get old to you. That way you won't really miss anything.

easy enough to change up presentation every series or whatever, you're not stuck to just using one kind all the time.

for those though that want on field stat overlays and things like upcoming schedule and this day in history, that won't work.

I love RTP it makes it feel more like a real baseball game. I dont like how many replays they show in the other modes.

I love RTP, I just don't like how clunky the home run trot is. I will say it's a ton better than last year, but it's still not completely natural looking. I would rather have the shortened one you get with broadcast.
