    Re: midgame save

The in-game save feature is my truly one and only major pet peeve with this series.

Everything else is so customizable that most of my other problems can be addressed. But I really don't get the point of even offering it in it's current state, other than it's literally better than nothing.

You lose pitcher stats (fouls, chased, etc), pitcher confidence resets (confidence is the driving force of this series, so it baffles me how it resets), and difficulty/global options reset.

I love this series as much as anyone, but I don't always have 2 hours to finish up a game. But saving is pointless, unless both teams go to the pen at the exact same time.

It resets your settings? So you have to go back in and re-adjust everything?

          Re: midgame save

I think it's because your settings are not saved to your profile, they're saved to your season or franchise instead. I had this problem a couple of years ago, and it frustrated the hell out of me. If you save your changes to your profile, you won't have to change them everytime you load a saved game.

I just tried this in my franchise and all my settings and sliders were fine. Must be something your doing? Try saving your profile as the default?

I really think it's linked to the profle thing mentioned earlier. I have an in-game save saved up too to check this out after work.

I know I've had issues with this in the past as well but it was always a profile thing. Every year.

Oh...let me just clear my last post up.

Confidence still resets this year, and pitcher/batter history, via the select menu, turn back to zero (things such as fouls, misses, chased pitches, etc).

Where I should have clarified, is that I'm NOT positive difficulty and such default themselves. This DID happen last year, but it MAY not now.

Sorry for the confusion on that. I shouldn't have worded my post that way.

For me the stuff you mentioned has alway reset. Lame I know.

Season options and the like didn't reset for me last year, however. Basically for me it's acting like it always has.

Just had to run out and performed mid-game save. All settings/sliders stayed upon reinitialization.

Load your settings/profile from the main menu before you load your Franchise.
