MLB 11 the show stuttering

Is anyone else experiencing a lot of video stuttering during a game? Does not seem to matter what mode. Stutters on pitches, camera angle changes, and stutters pretty much any time the ball is in motion. I know they fixed the catcher throwback stuttering with 1.10. Makes the game nearly unplayable. I've deleted data and went as far as swapping drives in my ps3. no change. Any ideas?

Also I experience no other problems with any other game local or disc.

Sign out of PSN. That is what is causing the stuttering I believe.

Didn't resolve it. Not a PSN issue. Cleaned the disc even though it wasn't scratched or smudged and it works fine now. Must have been an issue with the bluray drive.

Sounds to me like the problem you're experiencing is far worse than anyone else. Maybe it's a bad disk? Sorry man!

No he's right. The game lags and stutters a lot even if you're signed out of PSN. It happens most commonly right after making contact with the ball while batting. But it happens other times too, it has happened a few times while I'm loading up my pitch too.It's annoying and I hope they fix it.

But I made a big stink about the catcher throw back issue so I feel like I have no room to complain anymore lol...

I have not noticied too much stuttering. Maybe it is your copy of the game.

This is an interesting thread. I pretty much have played RTTS exclusively since purchasing the game and haven't noticed it hardly at all!! Are people having problems in Franchise mode or what? What's everyone playing when this stutter occurs??

I do not have this issue at all. Only stuttering is signed into PSN on the intro.

Gameplay is silky smooth.

Though for those that do have it. I hope it could be addressed.

I have seen it playing franchise games. Usually happens when I am hitting, slight lag. Throws my timing off.

DiddyGotGrillz: Doesn't seem to happen in a specific mode. I know it happens for me in franchise, season, and exhibition.

I have since cleaned the game even though it didn't appear to have any defects and it started working normally, so I'm not sure if there was a film on the disc, something was caught on the lens of the blu ray player, or if its a fluke that it worked normally for a game. I will see today if it continues to run normally.

I get the stuttering right when I start my game and get the little preview video, the audio starts stuttering

Yeah it does that signed into PSN, but signed out it does not.

Do you have any in game stuttering? I personally do not see any. Playing on a Dell PC monitor as well, so I wonder if some issues are HDTVs and the motionflow stuff, etc.

Switch HDTV to game mode.

My game stutters too. The intro to the game ALWAYS stutters big time, the one where it dusts off the plate. The only other part where I always see lag is in replays. Hopefully they fix it.
