Make A Create-a-Player Look Like You

Are there any sites that give tutorials, tips, and tricks for making your create-a-player look like you? I have a hard time tweeking my player to look like me, and I'm just looking for some help.

I know there are some people on here that really do a great job with the CAPs, and I'd like to be able to have the same luck.

    Thanks for the help!

my suggestion would be to have somebody in the room make suggestions as you pick the choices with the way you look.

they should use the camera like you can in fight night round 4.

I have always wondered why they haven't added the camera feature if im correct the ps2 had the feature but the ps3 never has.

It's a shame we don't have the ability to use a cam, there are 5 year old games that used the 360 vision cam, EA MMA did the same this year. Oh well, it would be cool to see yourself on a baseball card haha.

My advice, try keeping a picture of yourself for reference while you are editing. Or post a pic here and someone could try it for you?

The PS2 used a practically flat texture map. So it was not as detailed and did not have to accommodate the detail in the 3D heads that are in the PS3 models.

So I am sure a lot more needs to be done for it to work right. It will eventually come I believe.

Doing that technique, I was able to get very close to making my guy look like me. Only thing I wish were better was the facial hair system. We need more choices.

Can we see the pictures you used so we can compare. I have been struggling with this as well

Just kidding, how long did it take you do make your guy look like you? I tend to lose patience after 20 minutes...lol.

Tiger Woods has done it for the new gen systems. It turned out not bad, imo.

FIFA 10/11 has used it as well. Seems like only EA has taken advantage of that feature.

It is very important (well, easier) to make sure you pick a good base model to start out with.

I agree, selecting the right head shape is key. I got pretty damn good at them after literally hours of tweaking mine. Most important to capturing the glimpse of you is profile, outline and nose. Make sure the shape is you. Than you can add cheeks/protrusion and cheek bone and mouth to really bring it together. When I mastered the cheek section I nailed mine. The cheeks section is where you build so much structure for your face or you will just look flat and generic.

Also once you feel you "got it" just leave it, too often I went in to make useless tweaks and threw it all off. The only way to really check your progress is to load up an exhibition game and go to replay and look from different angles. The game render is different slightly than the CAP menu.

Below is me and my CAP.

I would be willing to take a crack at yours I enjoy doing it.
