First game of the season in Franchise mode, and there's players with multi-game hitting streaks announced. Are they counting Spring Training or is it actually going back to the previous season?

Its should be counting last season. Spring training stats or streaksd do not count for nothing or atleast thats the way it is in real life. Pretty surethe show has this down right and its the previous season. -

Spring training stats always get cleared at the end of spring. They don't count towards the new season. A player's hit streak, however, carries over from the previous season.
You don't hear too much ever being made of it in MLB, because no one really starts to pay too much attention to a streak until it starts to approach those golden numbers. If my memory serves me right though, Jimmy Rollins had a 30+ game hit streak that was spread out over both the 2005, and 2006 seasons.
That's what you're seeing in the game, not spring training hits.Comment

Cool, I was hoping that was the case, but wanted to make sure. I've got Billy Butler's streak up to 18 games now, 7 games into 2011 with my Royals franchise.
