    Poor Computer Trades

I searched the forums but couldnt really find anything so i am sorry if this has already been stated. Im doing a RTTS with a pitcher on the Royals. So far the royals have traded away:

Aaron Crow SP/RP who is 24 with B Pot. and 6th best SP on the team FOR Dee Gordon SS who is 24 with A Pot. making him best SS on the team.

That one makes sense....This next one not so much.

Jeremy Jeffries RP who is 23 with A Pot. and 3rd best RP on the team ALONG with Daniel Duffy SP who is 22 with B Pot. and 3rd best SP on the team ALONG with a C Pot. infielder FOR Jose Arrodando RP 27 with A Pot. making him 4th Best RP on the team.

What would urge the computer to make this trade? Duffy was in the starting rotation and Jeffries is younger with same potential and is better already than Arrondando.. Doesnt make sense!

    Re: Poor Computer Trades

I had a pretty crazy one offered the other day in my A's franchise. It was the first week of May and the Phillies offered Roy Oswalt to KC for 3 prospects. At the time Oswalt was have the best statistical year of any of their SP's and they were in first place. KC was in last place. I could easily see a trade like that happening if it was closer to the deadline and their records were reversed. However, at that point in the season I couldn't make sense of it. Luckily I use 30 team control so, I was able to withdraw the offer

I started a thread in the NBA 2K forums a couple of months ago that was basically for analyzing and breaking down CPU to CPU trades. It really didn't go over to well as there wasn't much participation. I wonder if one of those threads will go better over here
