I was required to update my system... I should've checked but I think it said 1.16 or something? I didn't bother to look, but I Realized immediately afterwards that that was an important thing to look at.

Code fixes don't make for large patches, graphical changes, texture updates, modeling updates do. Not a lot in this patch that I've read was going to be graphical overhauls. It was mostly bug fixes, and AI/Logic changes, simple code changes. Ergo, the small patch size.

I bet that explains what happened to me, then; I was in the 5th inning of a very good game, Phils vs. Atl, and Phils leading 3 to 2; my backup catcher just hit a HR to tie it, and one-batter later the game froze.
Never had a freeze before, when I reset it, I let the CPU play CPU in exhibition just because I wanted to see some uniforms (and was pissed my season game was cut off), when I went and looked again it had put up the "patch now" screen.
In the middle of a game? Come on...that would explain why it crashed like that for the first time...I had just tied it. That is just silly!Comment
