Re: Can we please start a list of "glitch" pitchers...

I don't know if Beantown planned on ever updating this thread (if not, I can possibly make a new one and then a mod can merge them?), but here's the full list, in alphabetical order by last name.

To be clear, this thread, and this list, are for pitchers with actual glitches in their delivery. It is not for pitchers that are simply tough to play against or "impossible" to beat. If you don't know what I'm talking about, well, you don't know what I'm talking about.

Bolded ones are "confirmed." (posted by multiple users). Note however that I have yet to actually see any of them for myself, other than the one I posted, Jonathan Sanchez. At some point this week I plan to sit down and play against all these pitchers (I will probably trade em all onto 2 teams, play them against each other, and just constantly switch pitchers). And I will make sure these are all "legit."

Jake Arrieta
Matt Cain
Hector Carrasco
Andrew Cashner
Ryan Dempster
Nelson Figueroa
Daisuke Matsuzaka (Stretch Only)
Vincente Padilla
Ryan Perry
Brad Penny
Tony Pena
Jonathan Sanchez
Ervin Santana
Andy Sonnanstine
Brandon Webb
C.J. Wilson

I'm pretty sure Burnett is not a glitch pitcher.

Knight's roster features Burnett using Johnathan Sanchez's delivery.

Facing Burnett using OSFM rosters, he's got the glitch from the wind but not the stretch. Will be lucky to score at all with the Royals here.

Sonnanstine of the Rays is about the worst for me. I hate facing him. And since I struggle hitting him, he stays in the game 2 or 3 innings too.

You can *definitely* confirm Ervin Santana. Balls comes out of where it would from a lefty but has righty break. Tony Pena of the White Sox just has slight Sonnanstine effect, but it's noticeable.

Check his windup and make sure it doesn't say "Johnathan Sanchez."

Change it back to "AJ Burnett."
