Draft Picks
Does anybody know how the draft picks happen in MLB 11 the Show, like if I don't sign my first round pick do I get a compensation pick next year in the first round? Same for the second round. Also will there be Second Round compensation picks? For really good players where you get a 1st and 2nd or a "B" type free agent? When it says so and so doesn't qualify as an A or B type free agent in order to get draft pick compensation you must offer arbitration do you know where that pick is or if it even happens? Is there a cap on draft picks you can have? Thanks.Tags: None -

Re: Draft Picks
There's a limit of 10 players you can draft each draft. Devil Rays had more picks than that the 1st year, but they could only use 10. No draft picks for players that aren't A and B free agents.Does anybody know how the draft picks happen in MLB 11 the Show, like if I don't sign my first round pick do I get a compensation pick next year in the first round? Re: Draft Picks
I had no idea there was a cap on draft picks. That is lame. To the OP, you get one draft pick in the first round and a supplemental (sandwich) pick for losing a type A free agent unless the pick you would get from the team that signed your player is between the 1st and 15th pick. In that case, you get a sandwich pick and their second round pick. If you lose a type B free agent, you just get a sandwich pick. You don't get anything for losing a free agent that is not a type A or B and on the game you don't get anything for failing to sign your draft pick.Comment
