datsamoandude Rookie OVR: 0 Join Date: Sep 2009	Slide Animation for SS/2B Im from New Zealand, and was introduced to the wonderful world of MLB thanks to a mate I play Madden with,suggesting the show was a must have game...now, Im addicted to the franchise... anyways, Im wondering...how do you do the SS/2B animation where the infielder slides on their *** to pick up a ground ball hit between the bases - the one where the slide down and up to pick up the ball, all in one motion, then firing it off to the base? I use analog fielding, and just move the SS/2B to that location, and they normally just reach down for the ball (or whiff)...was just wondering how to do this slide as I see the CPU do it all the time thanks in advance

datsamoandude Rookie OVR: 0 Join Date: Sep 2009	Re: Slide Animation for SS/2B really, Ive never once had my SS or 2B on my team pull that move off...is it cause I user my defenders?...Im new to baseball and this game so excuse me of this is a stupid question...just been a number of times where I would have been able to get the out at first if my infielder was able to pull this move off...thought it would be a button or something

Funny thing about this - everyone complains it happens to often and here you are saying it has never happened with your players.

In your case, you're actually doing better - getting your fielder in front of the ball like you are supposed to. The slide move is when the fielder is late getting there. datsamoandude likes this.
