    Low pitches

I am a chronic low pitch swinger. I have gotten away from swinging at the low fastball, but the low offspeed pitches not so much. I have no problem swinging and missing a curveballs and changeups every once in a while because that is what happens, but I swing and miss even when I am not fooled by the pitch. I swing when I know it isn't a strike. I don't know if this is out of habit. I was wondering if setting the camera angle different like some have suggested doing helped anybody else get out of this habit. I have tried a couple of the offset views, but it didn't help me at all. Is there any views that others have tried out or am I just own my own figuring this out?

Thanks, but I have already been through that thread and it is what prompted me to change to the offset look. It hasn't quite helped me like I expected it to. I guess I will just go through several of my own custom looks until I find something, if that is possible.

        Re: Low pitches

Sounds silly or simple, but I was swinging at way too many breaking pitches (talking ones that don't even make it to the plate lol) and something that helped me was changing my own eye level.

I realized I had my eyes keyed into the center of the strike zone...knowing I swing at way too many pitches out of the zone, I really made the effort to keep my eyes on the top half of the strike zone. (and really even if a pitch low is a strike it may not be worth swinging at)
It took a couple games, but being aware and focusing that - I was letting those breaking pitches down in the zone go. Doing that I'd also take some strikes obviously......so if I did get two strikes and I needed to protect, I'd revert to looking to cover the whole zone.

Take a look at the pitch analysis. Oftentimes, the CPU throws offspeed low and outside the zone. Just tell yourself, "I need to take it, I need to take it." Even if you strikeout a little bit, you are forcing the CPU to 1. throw more pitches and 2. they will soon stop that pattern and start laying those pitches in the zone more often.

Make use of practice too. Many people swear by it here, as it's an invaluable tool for use in helping you get better!

To the OP, custom change your camera and make it lower. Use Left stick to move it down.
