Has anyone successfully robbed a home run?

I try all the time, always jumping right when it gets down to the last red circle and not once have I been successful. What am I doing wrong?

Yup I've done it twice. Heres one I recorded.

I've robbed one home run, although it was in MLB 10 The Show. However in this game the ball always seems to be too many rows deep for me to even try to rob it. Have you looked at your replays to see if it's completely out of reach?

I have a couple of times. My first one was the best tho. It was with Justin Upton, the ball was headed towards the right field foul pole and he climbed the wall and snatched it before it hit the pole.

I was ahead 3-2 and there were runners on base, and I robbed the would-be game-winning home run, for the final out of the game in the 9th inning. I have it recorded too, I can post it later.

My success rate for robbing home runs isn't that high though. I can only think of 2 I've robbed, and both were in US Cellular Field (those walls are perfect for HR robbing!)

Home Runs aren't robbable everywhere fyi, you actually have to be tall enough and/or the wall short enough. It's not enough to just have perfect timing, you have to get lucky on the location also.

Twice. Once with Curtis Granderson, the other with Nick Swisher.

I've done it before. This was my best. What makes it more impressive is that I did it online, but I'm just really proud of the route I took to the ball, haha.

only someone who's been through the Yankee system would make that snag.

I robbed one only a few hours ago. Bobby Abreu rocked a slider to right fielder, but I had Halman their to snag victory from the jaws of defeat. It was pretty ****.

Once with my RTTS LF. Was playing at TB and when I robbed the HR it looked as if my guy put his glove through the railing and took it out of a fans hand lol. Was pretty cool.

I can never rob a HR. The ball is always just outside the reach of my fielders glove even though I get the little red circle telling me i have a chance of robbing it

Once with Ryan Braun. Haven't played The Show until this year. It was cool but I didn't realize I robbed it until the announcer said so. It was sort of hard to tell.

Re: Has anyone successfully robbed a home run?

It seemed easier to do this in '10, but I have done a couple times in '11. There seems like something is slightly 'off' on this years game and have a couple examples.

One that wouldn't show what happened exactly was when I played with Seattle at KC. The ball location marker was that of a typical flyball and half the ball was against the wall and half on the ground, so I positioned player against the wall and the ball sailed just over his head for a HR. Had the game shown a red marker, I had plenty of time to jump and make a catch.

Anyway, below is me playing as KC (Francour) in Detriot on defense and the AI (Drew) at Boston on defense. There is some 'clear' wall the ball bounces off (in Detroit) and one in Boston that the AI climbs and the ball bounces off his arm for a double.

Not sure how to load video directly on here, anyone know or could help? thanks in advance.
