What difficulty do you play on?

I've had this game for a couple days. (For Batting and Pitching) Been playing on rookie, did fine. Went to veteran, got owned. Any tips on how to get better at this game? Tips or sources that have tips would be Great.

thats the same thing that happened to me when i first got the game haha. keep both difficulties on veteran but change the sliders and make contact and power for yourself higher and also make control and stuff for your pitching higher. then you should be able to win on veteran.

Still playing on rookie. STILL a challenge. I guess I'm just not patient enough. I'm new to the sport so I'm still learning. But I get pretty excited when I get a run in. Usually 1 run in each game I play. Haha

I'm playing on All-Star (pitching & batting). Most of the time, I have a hard time with batting. But my pitching is ah-ight.

All-Star batting and pitching for me as well. However, I am thinking of dropping my batting to Vet to see how that works, because I am getting tired of just driving balls into the ground no matter how I adjust my swing; either I just suck at timing on All-Star or there is something not right about it. I will just give vet a try as long as I am not mashing the ball every game.

I play on legend but the sliders are tilted heavily in my favor.

All of you people who play on Veteran+ must be pretty darn good. Props to all of you.

All Star aswell. You just have to be patient and swing at good pitches. It evens out for me though I am on a win streak atm. Might bump it up to see if I'm still horrible.

veteran hitting and all star pitching. do any of you guys mess with the sliders or just keep them all in the middle?

IMO the most important sliders to adjust are the outfield speed, if you don't they will grab everything in sight, you can forget about a double in the gap, or over the head, I found some sliders that I used as a base, then adjusted from there. I like the analog, most sliders arent for analog. It took me a while to get sliders that gave me realistic stats. In my yankees chise i bat around 290 with a era of about 4, so I will probably adjust both of those sliders, for when I start a new chise.

Don't be afraid to cut your teeth in Rookie for awhile. If you "did fine" on Rookie, keep playing on that until you start putting up 9 or 10 runs a game and shutting out the other team every game.
