    "PA announcer" audio slot needed!

I love that Sony gives us the option to add our own sounds and music to different game situations. However I think there are small small tweaks could be made to it.

First of all I would like a new Audio slot for "PA announcer" Home and Away. The reason for this is because I like to use the audio batter walk up clips that have both the music and the real PA announcer. And currently in MLB 11 The Show in order for it to sound good you have to turn off the PA announcer because if you don't you will hear 2 PA announcers. Now turning off the PA announcer would not be a problem if I had audio batter walk up with PA announcer for every player. But I do not have audio replacment file for every player so if I turn off the PA announcer then I wil not hear the player batter announcements for the players that I did not replace the audio.

So the way to fix this would be to allow us to use our "Batter walkup music with PA announcer" clip in a "PA announcer Slot" Home and away. This way we can just leave the standard PA announcer audio for any player that we don't have a "Batter walk up music with PA announcer" And for these players we could still just replace the "Batter Walk up music" and have the statard "PA announcer " announcement with it.

So to recap doing it this way would allow us to replace "Batter Walk Up Music with "PA announcer" and not have to disable the default "PA announcer "

What do you guys think of my idea?

I hope its not to late to add this to MLB 12 The Show.

I wanted to add on to this topic.

I have noticed that if you use your own Home Run audio clip for a player when you hit a Home Run and it plays the very next batters Walk Up Music" audio will not play. Samething happens if I replace the 7th inning strech with my own audio clip the first batter up you wil not hear his Batter Walk Up Music"

Also the 7th inning stretch is too short. I use my own "Take me out to the ball game" clip and its 53 seconds long and the problem is when the 7th inning stretch starts and the song starts playing the next batter comes up to the plate too fast! So to hear the whole song play I have to pause the game.

I think this could be improved by actually making the 7th inning stretch longer. Instead of having the batter come up to bat so quick you could have the camera zoom in and out around the stadium showing the fans sing and the players warming up on the field like in real life. And of course with the option to press the X button to skip it.

    What do you think?

      Last thing

Does any else here think the Voume for the default PA announcer is not loud enough? Sometimes I have a heard time hearing him.

In fact I think MLB The Show could maybe use a brand new PA announcer.

This Idea spun another one, though this maybe years away, it would be neat if you could have your own spot to be 3rd person in the booth, particularly for playoffs. Add excitement instead of the bland stuff u hear in the playoffs. but its a long shot im sure for anytime soon.

They absolutely need a new one IMO. I think the current one has been "intolerable" for a while now. I only say that because it's a weird thing to dislike, but it's not that I don't dislike the current one... it's that if we heard a new one with a live kick in their voice and the overall ambiance of it (think like in a real stadium), the difference would be extraordinarily beneficial for the franchise, specifically on the presentation front.
