I always like pumping my hard earned money into the dying industry that is video game stores. Without them, most of us would have to wait several days after the release date. So I don't let paying the extra $5 eat me up.

Yeah I'm waiting 'till we see some kind of pre order bonus like last year with the free month of MLB.TV. If not I'll pre order it by mid February

I have too much coming down the pike that I'm not pre-ordering just yet. First is FFXIII-2, then Vita, and then both iterations of the Show.

I just don't like to have more than one thing pre-ordered at a time.

I haven't pre orderd yet, I'll wait until next month and let my account recover from buying books. I'll pre order from the Gamestop on Zumbehl Rd. in St. Charles, MO. Already got a ride scheduled. Just PS3.
I would be getting it in Rolla, MO if I would have gone to school at home instead of 100 miles away.

To remind everyone, Gamestop will more than likely be releasing at midnight due to Mass Effect 3 releasing the same night.

Excellent. I love being the only person that goes for a sports game - I think the same thing happened for Dragon Age II last year.

Definitely a fun time. It's really great seeing all the strange people who emerge from their mother's basements when these releases come around. I saw LOTS of beards last year.

I pre-ordered at gamestop with a 60 dollar giftcard. I got it from my uncle for xmas solely to pre-order the show. Normally he gets me a hockey jersey every year, but now he bought me the show 3 months early haha. It sucks that the release date is the two days before my 3rd year veterinary school finals. I will probably pick it up quick on Tuesday, and just have my fiancee hide it from me until Friday afternoon.

Nah. You only pre-order when you have something going for you, whether it's that you just need to guarantee yourself a copy or there's some sort of deal arranged with the pre-order that you are satisfied with (even if it's being shipped to you).

That said, I'm still waiting for something that will look good in terms of bundling with the Vita version, or MLB.TV, or preferably something from Best Buy so I can use it with my RZ account, etc. Finally, I still may always get it early somewhere, as people always seem to be able to do.

No matter what, if all else fails, I'll probably be able to walk right into a store and pick it up without any problem.

Talked to ours today and they are pretty positive there will be a midnight release.
I pre-ordered a couple weeks ago. Tonight I pre-ordered the Vita and The Show-Vita.
