Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
I figured that was just the Move's meter (in other words, the DS still might have the same art). Plus, that's not in the second half of the trailer.
Here are my reasons for thinking a possible earlier release date:
- It technically would be a big announcement, and would be something worth revealing at a later date (and for good reason, to make sure its competition can't get a leg up on them).
- It's not gameplay-related, and it is not a feature.
- Nemesis asked to think "outside the box." He also said we were "going in the wrong direction." Going in reverse order, chronologically, would mean to go "earlier."
- Brett said March can't come soon enough (doesn't specify March 8th, so maybe March 1st?).
- The trailer said to "pre-order now" in the second half of the trailer, but also doesn't say a date (if you're going to tell them to pre-order, you might as well also tell them the date... unless you are concealing it).
- They're asking you to look hard for something, but they never ask you to look for what is there... more of what isn't there. Heck, the trailer on the Moneyball Blu-ray disc even says March 8th.
Not just a wild guess on my end, that is. It might even have to do with pre-ordering itself, like there is a special edition (or something) that you get for pre-ordering.
Heck, they might even shoot for this to be a Vita launch title if they can. Earlier release dates aren't something that haven't been done before, but it certainly would amp people up a lot more quickly.

This forum would explode if this was true, Blzer. That said, I have my fingers crossed that you are correct

Until I saw Nemesis's subsequent post, I thought this might be true because one of the hints he gave was "Nothing gets you closer"
Is it being able to scan ourselves into the game this year using the PS Eye Camera with the Move? The footage with Adrian Gonzalez using the Move looked something like that. The background behind him looked like a living room he was in.
I know that sounds crazy, but I just figured I'd take a shot in this guessing game. Haha.
It's quite alright, actually. I never used them anyway.
Another big reason I thought it was an earlier release date is when I made the post saying that I would just "wait and see," and nemesis said that I disappointed him the most, maybe because I ironically spoke against what it was going to be (less of a wait, that is).
Too bad it's not it though lol.
