MLB Logos on Fitteds

Will MLB 12 feature logos on the fitteds? Like the World Series on the left side of the Cap? I'm curious.

That's a good question, but I don't know if it will happen; it would be great to see though. I'd also like to see different options for the player cap too, such as the curve of the brim or even a low-crown option.

You, sir, are in luck. That is one of the many additions to the player editor this year, different brim styles. Flat, curved, normal.

I am not sure on hat positions though.

that should be sweet, and off kilter hat options would be cool. you know alot of players like to wear them cocked a little to the side.

are you able to elaborate on the other additions? from wot ive seen it looks like you change the logo on the cleat this year? white sleeves have been added but from what i can tell it looks as if they are only 3 quarter..? noticed a new style of helmet..? gloves/shin guards/elbow guards still the same? gloves whilst baserunning? any new catching gear? the cork coloured mask has always bothered me...

From all the bits and pieces I have read since CD, here is a list of what I remember.

New brim styles on caps. Flat, curved, normal.

2 new cleat styles.

1 or maybe 2 new styles of batting gloves.

Compression Sleeves, full arm I believe. They can be white, not sure on the other colors, but I wouldn't doubt there aren't more colors.

New, smaller version of the Rawlings s100 batting helmet.

Shin gaurd can be turned inward, like Edgar Renteria or Roger Bernadina.

New, smaller elbow guard like Yadier Molina wears.

New catcher shin gaurds (I believe).

Batting gloves can be worn under fielding gloves.

Sunglasses can be worn on the hat.

I think it's possible for us to change the mask color this year, but I'm not sure.


No new fielding gloves and I don't think we have the options of base running with batting gloves.

Theses are great new additions! Especially that there was nothing done to MLB 11 The Show's player accessories. It's nice to have all these new additions. The player editor was feeling stale. Thanks SCEA! Excited for March 6th! Later

I remember MLB 2k8 had that feature, just like the ability to add earings to your player, that game had every editing feature known to man. From different choices of the way you wore your pants and shirt; baggy, tight, normal, extremely baggy. They had a shin guard option for the higher part of your shin and a turned one. No ear flap helmets. I wish seca would add in those jersey features! That would put this game over the top. Jeter would have a tight jersey, Manny, if he comes back, would have extremely baggy pants and shirt. Also, jayson Werth wears his uniform and pants extremely baggy, it looks like he's wearing pajama pants.

Low crown hats would be a nice option seeing as a lot of players are making the switch.
I honestly don't see how people wear regular New Era 59/50's, and am very happy that low crown 59/50's are becoming easier to find once again.

Love all these player edit options SCEA San Diego gives us. You can never have enough.
