I have scoured some threads because I read on the fact sheet, theres a uniform editor. Can anyone elaborate on this? Can it be used during franchise to make new jerseys? IE Mets blue jerseys.

This year it is JUST in Diamond Dynasty mode...the newest online mode in the game this year.

We're all hoping it will find it's way into the rest of the modes....and a Uniform Vault...so that we can download the created works of the fine players of The Show.

pshhh that'd be a dream in franchise mode. Wondering if MLB would even allow that though considering uniforms are licensed/copyrighted.

It would be a dream if it made it into the other modes. You could make every jersey that teams use. Ex: Brewers navy home jersey.

I don't think you'd see it in the current "MLB" franchise mode that is in the game...
But if they include a "custom" franchise mode(like the online one).....it might be possible.

This combined with custom season mode would be the greatest. Classic seasons would finally be possible.

I've always wondered why outside of the All-Star Baseball series there was never create-a-team features in other baseball games like there has been in other sporting games over the years.

Also I don't think MLB should have a problem with us using their logos to create new uniforms. The NFL and NHL allow it. MLB isn't the NFL or NHL but they should allow it too.

Wonder if they'd add in vintage style equipment. I'm sure MLB would require them to keep the hard helmets for batters. But old-looking hats and gloves would be nice to have in combination with uniform editors. And older shoes.

Or I wonder if they have some apparel partnership with some company that will keep them from allowing old-school uniform patterns and equipment that doesn't look modern.
