Bryce Harper
Ok so me and my friend were talking about whether Bryce Harper will be in The Show 12 when the game comes out. I said he wouldn't because he has yet to play a single MLB game and I thought that was the criteria and he said he would be in it because of who he is and because he is on the 40-Man roster. Who is right?Tags: None -

Re: Bryce Harper
He can not be in the game yet since he is not a part of the MLB Players Association, which requires the one game criterion you referred to. In order to be in the game, a player must be a part of the MLBPA.MaddenHeadz OD- Tennessee Volunteers (3-1) Y2
U-N-I-Form League- #15 Northwestern Wildcats (9-2) Y1

Re: Bryce Harper
Actually it's only if a player gets called up during the season and then they become a part of the MLBPA. They don't actually have to appear in a MLB game. That's why some guys are able to be put in the game even though they've never played in an MLB game. Like Andrew Brackman of the Yankees [now Reds] was in MLB 11 even though he had never appeared in a game until 2011. It's already been confirmed that Tyler Pasternicky of the Braves is in MLB 12 even though he's never appeared in a MLB game. It's because he was called up to the major league roster last year and had to sign with the MLBPA.Atlanta Braves
