My PS3 hasn't worked since October, it was the original 80GB with the backwards capability. Anyways I'm a huge huge huge baseball fan and MLB The Show fan and I was wondering what you guys think I should do, I was thinking about either buying a Playstation Vita and The Show for that, or just buying a New PS3 and MLB The Show on that. I figured with Vita I would at least be able to play The Show anywhere I wanted so I can play it all day long. What do you guys think I should do? Getting a PS3 and Vita is not an option right now :P It's either one or the other. If I did get the Vita I would get another PS3 sooner or later, or get mine fixed.

I bought the Vita just for the Show. Also know that I played the PSP for years and very much value portability. Nonetheless, I have the PS Vita version, am enjoying it, but would easily choose a PS3. From what we are hearing the PS3 12 version is something really special. The Vita version is nice and I will play more than my share of games on it. But if I had to choose PS3 all the way. -

Id get the ps3. Mine broke last july. I was going to just buy 2k12a for my pc, it can do more than just run it. But i recently got a credit card to build up my credit, still in school. So when my card comes in next week imma buy a ps3 and the show. And yes the show is that much better than the 2k series.Comment

It actually would depend on what all you're wanting to do and what other games, if any, you are into. If you're strictly going to play the Show and nothing else, then maybe the Vita wouldn't be a bad option since you would have accessability to play whenever you wanted.
On the other hand if you're looking to pick up other games, then I would probably go with the PS3.Comment

Reasons I'd say PS3
- Cheaper I think to buy one and the game
- Best version of the game
PS Vita
- Portable so you pretty much can play it everywhere
I honestly have a brain fart while I'm writing this so I can't think of that much lol but it depends on you really. If you have enough money I say go on the PS3's side.Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.Comment

if ya don't like to skip cut scenes, replays or don't wanna fast-play,& such,
then yer probably gonna wanna get another PS3.
PS3 is what I'd pick, probably because Vita is still new & the future is always uncertain.Comment

well your advantage to buying a ps3 for mlb 12 is that the ps3 version has all the features and it features true broadcast presentation while the vita does have everything the same as the ps3 except for the true broadcast presentation. so its a tough decision but i will always go with a ps3. a couple of weeks ago i had to get a new ps3 or get a vita. it was tough on me. the ps3 is what i got, im gonna give the vita some time to make some really good games and improve some.check out my custom covers for mlb 13 on Twitter:: @MLB13CustCovers

I would definitely go with a PS3 dude. Pick up a Vita down the road if you really want one. The PS3 version has all the bells & whistles after all
