Just found out my BB pre-ordered copy may not get here until March 12th...it's been shipped as of Friday, but it's sitting in Ohio over the weekend and needs to make it to California. Estimated delivery date says March 12th by USPS. My patience for March 6th has been depleted...March 12th might as well be December 12th...

Very tempted to head out to GameStop tomorrow at midnight, pick up a copy and when my delivery finally makes it, I'll return THAT copy to GameStop...ideas?

I ordered a Canadian copy from VG+ to get the Joey Bats cover, it was shipped on February 29th, let's see when this thing actually arrives since it has the Street Date in effect.

I've run out and bought a store copy then returned my copy received through the mail twice before.

I've actually been to a GS on release day multiple times and they claim they don't have extras of the game I want to pick up. Better bet would be Target, Walmart or Best Buy.

Edit: I just read the OP again. If you're planning on going to GS at midnight I would surely get in there and pre-order first.

Do exactly what you said. Go out to GS or anywhere else and buy a copy. When your mailed copy arrives, simply return it. One thing is for sure, waiting until March 12th is not an option.

Great idea to pre-order just so they can't pull that,"I'm sorry sir, but we don't have any extra copies for those that didn't pre-order" as they move to block the stack of 85 extra copies behind them...

Is it possible to cancel a pre order? If so, just do that.

If not, then like someone else said, buy the game and return it once you get the preorder(or return the preorder if it's easier)

Not to knock you, but why would you order a game online, that NEED to have on release date, with a game store in your area?

Walmart, Best Buy, Gamestop, Target, even KMart will have this game on launch day. Online orders ALWAYS come late. They ship for free because its 3 Day ground!

Buy it, and return the copy you get in the mail later over weekend.

This is why I don't preorder this game online. Unless Amazon is offering release day delivery for $0.99, I'm not patient enough to wait. I just swing by gamestop at lunch to pick it up.

Amazons the best with online orders. Always get my video games there and they have a lot of promos typically. Ive always received games the first day when I choose the release day option.

Fair question. In years past, I always pre-order from GameStop. But this year, I had $100 in Best Buy Rewards credit. So I got the game for free. When preordering, I thought I chose the Store Pickup option. But after checking my confirmation e-mail, I hadn't. By the time I tried to change the delivery option, it had already shipped and was too late...ugh...
