Mlb 2k8 had rain delays and rain outs also.

They said they will not do it unless a designer can come up with a way that makes sense and works for this series.

I for the life of me have the hardest time seeing the rain. I've changed from 1080p to 780p, I've played both day and night games. I've changed my TV picture mode from Standard to Vivid. I can't figure it out.

The only way I see actual rain drops is from Broadcast view on a dark color behind-the-plate ad.

I feel like the rain should be much more noticeable. I understand it shouldn't be raining so hard that it causes a delay, but shouldn't I see a mist on the cutscenes?

Is this a glitch?
not sure on my settings.
out of the box I guess. [standard setting] i dont use vivid, it gets to...vivid. lol
i have a 720p sony bravia

Re: Weather

I've played month in to Franchise with Yanks and haven't seen a rain game yet. Does the game start with rain or does it sometimes start overcast and then starts to rain?

The only rain game I've seen thus far was my first spring training game, and it was raining from the start.

You'll always notice rain at the beginning of the game. Or at least notice the mist.

I'm pretty sure there is no chance of rain during evening games. You'll only get a chance of rain on afternoon games. So with this year’s schedule it will only rain on the weekends.

Was there a reason why it doesn’t rain during evening games in franchise?

And when it rained in 2K wouldn't it just boot you out of the game and you had to play it over again on the same day? I remember some baseball game I played a while ago that did something like that.

Is it supposed to be this way, or do I need to adjust my HD settings on my PS3/TV?
I had the same problem or so I thought then about the 6th or 7th inning they made note of it raining as hard as it has all night and then I finally was able to see the rain falling. I remember it was a lot easier to see rain on the All-Star Baseball games.
