How I play a 162 game season..

I only hit. I sim the pitching. Although I do manage my bullpen. If you love hitting then sim pitching. Sometimes I'll pitch the 9th. I'm already in mid May and i've had the season since the midnight launch.

I highly suggest this to someone who wants to play an expedited 162 game seasons with keeping some sense of realism to it. All hitting stats are accumulated by you.

I'd try this if it didn't seem like Fast Forward pitching gives up like 9 runs every game. Awful tough to win like that.

I play both when its tied, when I take the lead I pitch only, when i fall behind I hit only

I've been looking for a way to play a whole season in a short amount of time. I may try this.

Do you recommend setting the AI vs. AI on pitching higher? Would that make a difference in how many runs the cpu pitching allows?

I used to play similar to this when I was younger, and the fast forward feature came out.

The difference was I pitched, and I skipped the hitting. I really hated hitting since it was so boring and predictable, even on the higher difficulties. Once the gameplay improved, I got around to playing more of the hitting side. Now I don't think I could skip even one minute of the game without feeling weird.

I play the whole game. But I break it up by length of the series.

2 game series: play both

3 game series: play 1 game

4 game series: play 2 games

Then in September if the race is within 10 games I play all the games until I A.(lead by more than 10 in which case I do as listed above),
or B.(fall back too far in which either sim or do as listed above.

And of course you couldn't pay me to sim a playoff game

I just enjoy the season and play every inning of every game. I see no reason to rush.

I've almost played a month's worth of games already.

I do the same thing, I would love to play every game but sometimes it gets boring playing the same team 3 or 4 games in a row. Especially if its a bad team
