Travis d'anaurd (sp?) for a starter or two. I'm confident in Arencebia being my catcher long term.

I might try and do the same thing with d'anaurd. I also want to get another lefty in the pen and a Decent Outfielder with some speed and defense, Cause Davis just cant make plays in the outfield. To many errors

Jays already got 5 outfielders on their team, adding Snider as the 6th(though he'd be playing DH in that scenario) still seems like alot. Though 5 OF will be great when the 2 guys off the bench are Davis and Fransisco. Jays will be real dangerous in late inning situations with speed on their bench. Teams might have to choose between facing Bautista in the 9th, or walking him(which basically puts Davis or Fransisco on 2nd)

You're a Met's fan Knight, you should know that you're out of the race before the season even starts

i was thinkin instead of having 2 speedy pinch-runners on your bench and have 1 plus have a guy capable of hittin one out in Snider....just my 2 cents tho

When you have Bautista as one of your OF, Thames in LF and hopefully a back to normal Rasmus in CF, your bench doesn't need to be filled with hitting depth at OF.

Though if injuries occur, it'll hurt the Jays alot. If JP gets injured, do they try and sorta rush d'Arnaud, or let Mathis start...If Lawrie gets injured, do they really let EE start at 3B(he's really not that good defensively)

Though Vizquel is on their bench too, so it'll be great for them.

I might just go all out and trade half their minors to make a strong playoff push this(or next) season. Doesn't mean I'm gonna trade them for 30 year old players with big contracts

I'm going to have some work to do on my White Sox. The Sox have a pretty week farm system so I'm going to start there getting as many A and B prospects as possible. I might have to endure a losing season or two before I really get things back on track.

I understand where ur comin from....i guess i just always feel the need to have a power bat on my bench waiting in the wings just in case the bottom of the lineup or if a non-power hitter has to tie it up with one swing.....but it wouldn't make much sense in your case since the entire starting 9 has the capability of jackin one out
