Scoreboard question

Hi Guys

Started my franchise today and have noticed two odd things that maybe one of you fellas might know

1) The ticker that shows other games scores at the bottom of the screen says that there are no scheduled games today? When in real life there should be all of todays games ( April 5 )

2) Should the stadiums be showing the socres of other games? Like the one in the outfield at progressive field. I dont know if they actually show the scores or not for other games.

Yes I noticed that it says no other games scheduled today but it actually does show the scores for the other games and yes the outfield scoreboards to show the real scores of the other games going on in your franchise.

In years past, you had to sim the other games before you started the game you are playing.... try that and see if the out of town scoreboards and updates start working.

I also thought about that, thanks for the tip. I will give it a go tomorrow and check back here.

In years past, you had to sim the other games before you started the game you are playing.... try that and see if the out of town scoreboards and updates start working.

Another alternative to simming all the games manually, is this. From the schedule screen, select the game you want to play and on the pop-up select "View Organization's Games" instead of "View Today's Games".

From the "View Organization's Game" screen, select the game you want to play (presumably the MLB game and not a minor league game), and it will prompt you that all other games for that day will be simmed. Select "Ok" and there you have it, once you start your game all the updates will be there.

I will also try this when I play again today ( have to go over to my sisters house to help paint ) so hopefully after dinner tonight I can play some show

JB - if you're controlling ALL 30 teams, you'll need to sim the other games first (as zephyr13 has mentioned), otherwise the out of town scoreboard won't show them.

Hi Fellas

Back again, well I tried both methods above and am still not seeing any scores on the scoreboard? I am playing at progressive field and I know I have seen scores out there in exhibition games.

Any Ideas on what Im doing wrong?

I went back and did the manually simulate all the games on that day before I played mine and what do you know, the scoreboard is showing the scores of the games.

Yeah, for it to work best, you have to manually simulate all the games on the day of the game you are playing... Cheers!

This. I use this method. You won't accidentally see the results of the other games before you start yours by using this method...

The above works fine if you're controlling a single team. Using 30 team control, is there a way to sim the other games without seeing the results? It kinda makes the ticker pointless when you know the eventual outcomes of the games.
