    2 Questions?

Alright guys, the 2 questions I have are,

    1. What team between Houston and Baltimore should I start I franchise with?

    2. When dealing with the 40 man roster, I know you start the season with a 25 man mlb roster, so when do you start adding the other 15 players? b4 the end of the year or anytime throughout the course of the season? Or are there already 40 players on the 40 man? The 40 man is confusing and I'm really trying to get into the GM aspect of the game. Any help would be grateful. Thanks guys!!

    Re: 2 Questions?

You will start your franchise automatically with a 40 man roster.
You are able to pick and choose who you want on there. Just remember 2 things

    1) your major league roster takes the first 25 spots.
    2) anyone you leave off is unprotected.

The 40 man roster is your MLB pool to pick from. You can carry 25 on the active roster the entire season. The other 15 players go to the minors, but you can pull them up to the majors anytime you want, but you'll have to drop a player. Rosters expand to 40 in September for everybody.

Keep note of how many options a player has. This is how many times he can be sent down. If they're out of options, you'll have to put them on waivers before they can be sent down to the minors.

What would be really cool is if they put player personalities into the game. You know the professional guy, middle of road kind of guy and someone like Oliver Perez. Just to add a little managerial drama to the game.

By the way, go with Baltimore. I'm from the area and Camden Yards is a real jewel. They're a rebuilding project, but you've got a good centre fielder and right fielder, a great catcher, a stud prospect at short and a pitcher prospect who's going to be a super star. And who doesn't love the cartoon bird?

If you want the ultimate rebuilding job go with the Astros. Very very pieces there to build around.
        Atlanta Braves
        Atlanta Falcons
        Auburn Tigers
        Detroit Red Wings
        Winnipeg Jets

Only problem with HOU is that they are switching to the American League next year. So if you are going to play multiple years they will always be in the NL.

I don't see how that is a problem. So what if they don't move to the AL in the game?

Some people have beyond OCD when it comes to realism in a video game. I recall seeing a post recently of someone upset that the M's and A's don't play the games on the correct days.

I'd have to go with the O's. Like their unis, love their ballpark, and they have some decent talent sprinkled throughout. Plus you have the added difficulty of facing the AL East on a regular basis.
