    Pitchers hitting too much?

I've been dimming my franchise a bit and checking the box scores, and my pitcher keep going 3-5 or 2-4. Two of my pitchers have .500 batting ave. Is there something wrong, or is it just me?

You have an iTouch or iPhone, don't you?

Every time I write the word "simming," the auto-correct function likes to replace it with "dimming" too. LOL!

There was a thread started a few days ago about this. You should use that instead of starting a new thread. Just looked and it's on the second page. Although it is more about giving hits up to pitchers then getting hits with them.

Around 10, small base number, but that shouldn't be happening to all of my pitchers.

Sorry, I didn't notice this thread. It didn't show up on similar threads when I made the title either, my bad.

I was about to start a new thread about this till I seen this one. My pitchers are hitting the the cover off the ball so far in my season. Latos went 3-4 my last game w/ 2 doubles, an RBI and two runs scored. Cueto is also having a good year at the plate and Bailey has a HR and 4 RBI's so far in 9 at bats. I hope this evens out to more real realistic numbers as the season progresses. My team hitting stats are pretty accurate thus far.

Ironically enough, Mike Leak has yet to get a hit for me. For those that don't know, Leak is one of the better hitting pitchers in Baseball if not the best.

                Re: Pitchers hitting too much?

Was about to start a new topic, but found this.

                1. I do NOT use the DH.
                2. Prior to starting my franchise I go thru each teams ML pitchers and, for the most part zero out all their hitting attributes. Zero is not really zero, but you get my drift.
                3. I use CLASSIC pitching with pitched ball fade.

I have a heck of a time getting these pitchers out. I’m not afraid to throw balls out of the zone, really mix it up, but geez. I wonder if something is messed up with the AI. Sometimes I’d rather face the #4 hitter with the bases loaded than the pitcher. Something just feels off.
