Often, I will throw a pitch (using analog) and find that there is a delay while trying to let go of the right stick then throw down to second base (analog fielding as well.) By the time my catcher begins his throw animation it is already too late.

Trouble Throwing Out Runners
Does anybody else seem to have a lag when you try to throw out stealing runners?

As soon as you hear the crowd swell, or see the guy break in the runner window, push up on the R-stick and get 'em.
The other thing to remember, when Analog pitching, push forward to throw the pitch, and let go of the stick. You do not need to keep the R-stick held forward to throw the pitch, and you are confusing the input to throw to second base if you do so.
Pull back and hold it to star tthe motion, wait til the appropriate time, and push the stick forward, and let it fall back to the middle neutral position.
