This doesn't hurt me personally and it doesn't ruin the game for me, it does make it a little weird perhaps but... Ted Lilly for Chris Carpenter straight up??? What? I thought trade logic was at least improved this year...

It did, at first I thought maybe STL was in rebuilding mode for some reason perhaps, but nah, they just decided to trade their ace for Lilly.

If I use 30 team control, and set the CPU to auto everything except trading, can avoid things like this in my franchise??? Almost like a commish mode?

yes you can control it with 30 team control. The trade logic needs work...same with potential and other franchise options. I love this game...but franchise is in need of some improvements.

Wow, Ted Lily's value really went up this year.

In '11, the Dodgers tried to unload Lily, an MLB-level positional starter, and one of their hot minor league prospects for 2 of my minor leaguers (one was Dayan Viciedo, and I don't recall who the other one was).

So if I have 30 team control and I set the trading to auto for everyone else, the transaction will show as pending, and not go through? Nice.

My issue is that I had instant trades on. Must of be what was causing the issue.

leave instant trades off.....and u HAVE TO check the pending transactions screen every day or a trade could possibly slip by the cracks considering u wont get prompted of a CPU trade till AFTER it's made
