In-Game Save Knocks Out My Game Settings

This problem only comes up when I use in-game save (start a game, play about half, go to bed, resume the next day!).

I use a custom Profile, as I'm sure most of you do.

When I come back to an in-game save (this has happened every time, three so far this season), all my gameplay settings are gone. I believe the game picks up an "Experienced" profile to use instead. I believe this because, after the game, I was told that I had modified the Experienced settings, and asked whether I wanted to keep or discard.

Many things got changed, of course. I had to go to the Settings and re-set my camera, re-set the fielding views, re-set all kinds of settings to where I want them.

I can find no way to fix this easily mid-game, and it shouldn't happen in the first place. When I go to Team Select (hoping to re-set to my profile/settings), there is no option to do so.

    Sliders are fine.

    Others seeing this problem?

Make sure your main profile settings (when in the game's main menu) are the same as your franchise settings. I used to have this problem too prior to matching those up.

I'm not following, or it's not working.

I have a customized User Settings.

It was created outside my Season.

But I have it loaded into my Season. When I click on "User Settings" in my season, I see the customized profile I created outside my season, but "brought into" and use in my season.

The problem is that the game is not picking up these customized User Settings if I do an in-game save.

Hopefully you'll get an answer, because this happens to me as well. My settings outside of franchise are set-up the same as they are in my franchise. I have no idea why this is happening, but I never noticed it before the last patch.

It's a reported bug in the bug thread many times I would link you to them but I'm on my phone.

Yep same problem here too. I also had this issue last year.

I'm sure you guys have already done it, but have you gone in and set the created user profile as default? Maybe that will help. I haven't played a ton of my franchise but i've saved and resumed a number of times without issue. Hopefully it's something you can resolve since redoing the settings every time is a pain in the backside.

This has been happening for a few versions now. There is no way to avoid this. You will have to load a previous franchise save first, then load your in game save.
