Why don't some rookies get real faces?

I mean with players like Yu Darvish, Matt Moore, Cespedes and Harper who they know will play at one point in the season why don't they actually have the picture of them and create a face for them so once they make their MLB appearance they can put them in the game with a real face/picture? This may have something to do with licensing or other things, I'm not really sure but it just never made sense why they didn't prepare for the rookies that will definitely be put into the game at some point.

That being said I absolutely love the game, keep up the good work!

Just speculating here - but I think that they can only use the images of players who were actually in MLB when the game was produced. Someone like Yu Darvish and others were not signed by production. Sucks, I know - wish they could release them in a patch.

Eric Thames also comes to mind. Im not sure there is a way they could have been further from his likeness than the current model in game.
