ANyone use the classic stadiums for Franchise?

Does anyway use the classic stadiums for franchise?

I want to use the Mets for my Franchise but I just dont like the digital Citi Field. I like it in real life but there is just something off about Citi in the game, same with Busch stadium which is one of the worst looking stadiums in the game in my opinion.

So i was thinking of using Shea for my Franchise. Just wondering if any other Mets users did the same or if anyone who used other teams with classic stadiums ie: Pittsburgh, Cardinals or A's used them?

My dream would be to use the Tigers at Tiger stadium but dont think that will happen anytime soon.

I like to use the classic stadiums when I playing in a ballpark I don't care for.
If I have a series in Tampa, Oakland and sometimes against the White Sox, I will use a classic stadium.

I can see why SCEA has not expanded the classic stadium selection as it seems not many OS forum members are interested in the old ballparks.

Thats absurd, theres huge interest in classic jerseys, stadiums, and players. There was a hundred page thread back when they first spoke of including classic stadiums. People wanted to pay for additional ones as DLC.

Any time I have a series in Cleveland I play in a classic stadium. Not because I don't like the Indians field, but because you can't see the ball. So it's a good excuse to use one of the old parks.

I think it would be cool if they came out with a decade type game 40s 50s 60s... All the unis and stadiums umpires and players perhaps call it Cooperstown the show. I know they have had throwback players and such but a game dedicated to it would awesome. Use classic announcers, scoreboards ... Baseball has so much history and such a fan base I bet it would sell very well.

I think it was Tony Larusa baseball years back that I used to play and it had classic stadiums in them. Obviously the graphics weren't what they are today but from what I remember it had a little more detail to the old stadiums. For example advertisements in the stadiums from that era. It just feels more authentic that way. I am a big fan of the classic stadiums. I would like to see them expanded with more detail to them. jmo

I second this. One of the best stadiums in baseball ever. I loved when Madden had it in the game in 07 when Shaun Alexander was on the cover. I paid 5 bucks to use it. And I played in the stadium religiously. I even loved how it had the old sign of Warren Moon.

I continue to long for the old Tiger Stadium. Would play all franchise home games there, if it was available. Sigh.
