Clearly ratings don't matter in real life either, I mean Armando Galaraga threw a "perfect" game and then got demoted like the same month, as he went right back to being terrible. How did he throw so well in his near-no-hitter with such low ratings? And Adam Dunn? Hello? Does God not know Adam Dunn has 90 power?

And don't even get me started on Albert Pujols...

Guys, this video does have good points. There is no reason why a pitcher with everything at 0 should be even near the strike zone. There are flaws with the experiment, but I can get what he's saying. I know we all love this game, but every game has some weaknesses.

umm no it doesnt, so a player with low 3pt ranking should be no where near the rim when shooting?? lol

That would be my first reaction. Don't most people who use sliders turn the pitcher control/ consistency / strikes thrown sliders way down to like 2 or 3? I know I do, and most of the slider sets I've used and seen do the same. For me, that results in a realistic variety of aces dominating/struggling, lesser guys getting hot but then hanging one, and even a few (still not enough) wild pitches and hit batters and guys completely falling apart and not being able to find the zone and stuff like that. So yeah, I'd agree, sliders help.

ummmm, a player with a 0 for three point shooting should not be anywhere near the rim when shooting a three.....
