    Hitters you can rake with.

Is there anyone you just destroy pitchers with? It seems like Lefty power hitters (a la Dunn, Pena, Ortiz) i just hit with. Pena especially in my current franchise. He's hitting .500 with 9 bombs and 14 RBIs through 7 games. Zobrist is also killing it, at .520 with 4 HRs and 8 RBIs as of now.
Kris Bryant doesn't hit homeruns, he destroys pitcher's dreams. #Bryantwatch

It's only through 7 games bud! JK I rake with Matt Joyce! Through the first series of the year(3 game vs. Yankees), I hit .500 with him with 5 or 6 homeruns! I hit a WALKOFF off Rivera and 2 homeruns off Sabathia! I think I hit 2 off Pineda or Kuroda also!

Probably, but I'm playing where I have fun. I know they'll both cool off; Pena had an 0-4 with 2 K's and Zobrist had an 0-5 last game. Btw, everything to Pena has been out of the zone considerably or right in the sweet spots.

Well, Pena is a historically terrible hitter when it comes to batting average. He's got a career avg in the .230s.

I've never considered yard maintenance with major league players. Might be fun

And he's absolutely atrocious against lefty pitching. It depends on what your talking about a guy that gets to the break still hinting at 400 or a,bomber cause they aren't the same. I've got Rod Berajas hitting jacks like crazy, and still in the 290 to 315 range which I'm stoked with, but I have in my KC franny Cain, hitting exactly at the break all my own hitting a whooping 419 trying to be the first since Ted to pull it off, we'll see!

The above posters WERE right however. 9 HR in 7 games is definitely time to look at skill level. I've got 4 in 4 games with Prince Fielder, and I'd be really concerned if 3 of them weren't massively wind-aided.

But yeah, I rake with Prince... off to a slow start in the new franchise (had to restart my 10 year plan for the final time because of freezes) but Cabrera has ALWAYS raked for me, and he's coming around now. Just went 3-4 with 2 RBI's including the winner in my last game -- had a horrible series at Boston to open the season but here comes Miggy!

Also, I tend to rake with Boesch and Santiago, and Avila hits very well for me as well. Timing Hitting, so it will all even out eventually, though.

I agree. Timed hitting is the way to go! Also for base running. I had to switch my RTTS base running to buttons instead of the stick, because my hand would always slip at wrong time and I'd be out! Same thing with batting!

I bat about .500 with Henry Blanco, dbacks backup catcher. I raked with him last year, I must like his batting stance or something.

Picked up Jhonny Peralta as a free agent 3B went down for 5 games inserted him for this 5 games he hit 6 HR and 16 RBI's in that time haven't look back since but do have him DH every 3 days as his durability is suspect.
