WHY WE CANT HIT

Sup guys.. This game and trying to hit gets under my skin and its getting old really fast..
Lets all name the kind of TV we have and our hitting stats to see if there is any truth to this ..


I believe the only reason so many of us suck at hitting is because of the input lag.. I mean most of us have been gamers our whole lives and now we suck at a baseball game.. NO CHANCE!!

Ive tried every setting on my TV and it really doesn't help much! Sick of being late on every fastball .. Sick of scoring 1 to 2 runs per game. We need SONY to include a lag calibration option in the game next year.. Rock Band does it so im sure they can..


I have a 32 inch Samsung .. What kind of TV do you have and how is your hitting

32 Inch LG 1080p, no lag, hitting fine...

I have a 60 inch samsung and my hitting freaking blows. Ill be lucky to score 2 runs

46 Inch Sony Bravia.. No Lag.. I still suck, but I believe it to be due to my team sucking (Astros) and the sliders I'm using. I feel like I've read about a lot of people with Samsung's complaining...

Ya ive tried a few slider sets myself.. How do you know you have no lag?

I have a samsung 48 inch. I suck in franchise but I tear the ball up in rtts.

Well by that I meant my timing on swings is fine.. So I guess if my TV lags I happen to lag at the exact same time differential.

42' Vizio HD (1080p) TV. My hitting is fine (.268 as a team).

menu, picture, advanced settings, turn dcm option to off. That is what causes the lag. It will make a world of difference.

Samsung here ive played on my 120mhz and older 60mhz and no lag whatsoever ...hit fine. cant compare the show to any other game as far as challenge goes..now another prev yrs version possibly.

Just as a question have any of you that talk about not being able to hit the fastball tried turning down the pitch speed slider? I know everyone wants to be a man and all but if it makes you enjoy the game more come on just do it!

There is no way. Pitch speed must be max. Hall of fame only. Who cares if I'm 34-111.

Na I'm just kidding lol. It is amusing people never really consider these options sometimes. However I do believe there is some kind of lag issue out there from what I've read in a couple places that pitch speed won't fix.. or maybe it will i dunno.
