If you had included a prospect like Hechavarria rather than Lind I could actually see it.

I don't know man, both plays were doing well, the Phillies were well out of contention and Halladay was 35 with an ERA over 4. Drebek was having a much better year at the time.

Yes, but only one prospect isn't realistic. I'd still have put in another prospect. Lind is useless for them anyways, he's in his prime, and they're beginning to rebuild.

Re: Official 2012 Toronto Blue Jays Thread

i would've had no issues playing with the Padres...in fact, they were my 2nd choice....no household names to speak of, mediocre pitching AT BEST, high-ranking farm system...and the Rogers Centre>O.co Coliseum so u have NO right complaining about a ballparK ....and GO CECIL!..and u do realize that half of the majority of the Astros thread has NOTHING to do with strategy, roster, farm system, etc. right? lol

Sorry, I forgot about that hellish place.... Actually, I LOVE that cross aisle behind home. Beautiful place to catch a baseball, which I'm pretty fanatical about.

The Padres are decent, though. Cameron Maybin might be a household name. Same with Huston Street. Max Fried will 100% be a household name within 5 years.

Cecil starts tomorrow vs. the CWS. I'm betting Dunn is gonna smash at least 2 off the poor kid.

Street might not last there so that takes away one *household* name....Cecil will give u 5 good innings

Maybe the A's and Giants will settle that land dispute and you guys can get a new ballpark!

I love the Padres system, lots of really solid talent there.

Against the White Sox? Yooooouuuuuuk, Konerko, and Dunn are all bets to go deep.

For all the guys in here who use the Jays, who's your secret performer that always does well? Mine is Sergio Santos, for some strange reason. Always good for a sub-2.30 ERA with 40 saves.
