Announcer Stats Incorrect

I keep noticing during a franchise game how Matt quotes totally incorrect info regarding stats. Things like "leading the league in 2 of the 3 triple crown categories" (accdg to him my team has 2 or 3 guys that are doing that.

Or for whatever reason Seth Smith is hotter than heck for me and is leading the league in HRs and BA, but Matt always says he is 3rd or 4th in Batting average etc. Just in general the announcers are not getting the info that is being displayed.

It also shows when they show his stats as batter walks up, will have a catg highlighted and say it is 3rd or so in the league when it is not at all.

I do not have any patch applied, I don't think. I disabled the one from 2 months or so back, as it hosed my RTTS and my franchise, and have been reluctant to install this latest one that keeps showing up when I start the game.

I wonder if the latest patch fixes this, and does not mess up your franchise or RTTS.

Anybody else see/hear this misinformation from Matt during a game regarding stats. They will also show a chart of team stolen bases for instance, and there are no ties, one team is clearly leading, no ties at all in the list, and he says "as you can see, they are currently tied for the lead" Stuff like that

Very minor stuff for sure, but would be nice if it were accurate. But I am not losing any sleep over it. Just curious if maybe the patch fixed it, if others noticed this etc.

I have experienced the same as it is getting annoying, but I doubt will be fixed in this game, so I hope they can fix it for next years game.

I've had it where my guy is on the mound and they'll bring up a stat like team ERA, HR allowed, etc and they'll say "this guy/team is tied for top spot in this category", when actually they're leading it.

There is also the classic "player X just hit his first career home run" .. when it clearly wasn't their first..

Small mistakes but they certainly drive me nuts lol..

In RTTS my player who has been in the majors for 3 years now is apparently leading the "junior circuit" in hitting. Hmm, I haven't played in a AAA or AA game in 3 years, kind of hard to be leading the "junior circuit" when I'm playing in the "senior circuit" huh SCEA?

Never heard them refer to the AL as the junior circuit in real life, must not be paying attention enough to hear it if they do, lol. Still would be incorrect though as my RTTS player is in the NL.

Ive had many of those same in my game and others as well...some though have been in there in the past 2 versions and still werent fixed so .....maybe next yr..

Yep after certain hits that banner will flash an incorrect or unimportant fact. Like today Starling Castro got a hit and the banner flashed something like this "Castro just extended his hitting streak to 1 game" lol.

I have also seen the first career home run thing too and the guy has like more than 100 home runs.

Annoying but not a game breaker for me.

It's not their fault, it's a programming error.

But if you're saying that the announcers need a serious overhaul, I definitely agree with you. The sayings are getting old.

Man, if you're going to try and dump on scea at least know what you are talking about. Minor league baseball has nothing to do with the "junior circuit".
