No updates, no talk about it at all... The Show PSP had its own board as I recall. I'm really enjoying the game- instant classic, but I hope support and title updates are in our future.. I stopped buying The Show PSP after a while because it was literally the same game year after year. Anyone have any news or thoughts?

I know it's very frustrating. Specially with the big push they did in March. Every sales pitch they'll do for MLB13 will be taken differently now, specially concerning Vita version. No updates, no talk about it at all... The Show PSP had its own board as I recall. It's definitely a little frustrating the lack of response from SCEA in regards to the Vita version. A patch was discussed by a few developers, but then nothing since then.
At least the cross-platform saves work ... although with no patch, the start times on the Vita are all messed up.Currently Playing:

If the next iteration still has chipmunk faces for created players, it will be on the do not buy list... No idea how that got through QA- it's an embarrassment and completely takes you out of the game.
Start times are a bummer- no idea what the thinking was there... Just randomize it at least.
Very often when I hit a foul ball to left- deep into the stands (20 rows deep), The ball does a "Wanted bullet" type curve back into the field for the left fielder to make the catch.
In RTTS very often the home teams' bg color does not show up until you make the 3rd out of the inning.
But yes, presentations, presentations, presentations... This is an absoute must for next year. I REALLY wish at least a home run replay could be patched in.Comment

Re: No more love for the Vita?
The vita version was just waaay too laggy for my taste. Whenever I played at a big busy ballpark it was impossible to time my hitting and the pitching cursor moved around terribly. My fix would be spring training ball parks but it got boring. Hopefully they work on this for next year.Comment

Looks like they've left the Vita version for dead. Shame to since I no longer have time to play my other consoles.
A small patch here and there could of really fixed a lot of annoying issues this version has. With Sony showing no support for The Show on Vita I won't be buying it next year if they decide to even have a Vita version.Comment

I love the VIta version, I have not had an problems with it all. Love the fact that I can transfer the franchise back and forth. Has really expanded the length of my play for both Franchise and RTTS by a very large amount.
Sure there are some things I would like fixed or upgraded. Player models and presentation among the first things but I love it and play it every day.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

I'm glad this thread was opened. I was considering buying the vita specifically for the show, but this tells me that wouldn't be a good choiceComment

I did, and while it seemed awesome at the beginning it become a complete bore about a week or so into playing it.Comment

Re: No more love for the Vita?
I certainly wouldn't base my decision on such a small sample of comments. There are plenty of threads on here with positive feedback - including mine. The only thing I really don't like is the distorted faces on the created players. I've played a ton more games than I otherwise would have gotten to without the Vita, and I have no problem with hitting/fielding/etc on there. If you approach it for what it is, a handheld, it's a great game.

The distorted faces are a deal breaker... I find myself just starting a franchise over after a season or two so I never have to see them.I certainly wouldn't base my decision on such a small sample of comments. If we were talking about distorted faces in full presentation mode, I would agree with you. But no more than I see faces up close with the fast play type of game the Vita offers, it's not a deal breaker to me. Does it bother me? Yes. But not a deal breaker under these circumstances. I do hope it's possible to fix this for 13 though.
