Would you like to see DLC expanded?

Nothing gets me more in the mood to play a baseball game than hearing the 'Audio Clips' snippets while on the main menu. Getting to relive game 162 for the Rays, or hearing calls from the World Series... what's better than that? But there are such a small number of them currently on the disc, that I feel like it takes away from the value of it.

I would certainly pay for them if it was a reasonable price. .99 for ~ 30 Audio Clips (I don't know how expensive or time consuming it is to obtain them)? 1.99 for all 20 of them to be from a team(s) of my choice? Absolutely.

But this made me realize there is so much untapped potential with the DLC.

So my question to you guys: What do you think about the current state of DLC? Do you want to see additional additional content? If so, what is one thing you'd like to see available (and would be willing to buy)?

If you're on the other end and don't care for DLC at all, explain that too.

Anything and everything.
Mostly stadiums though.

Hopefully....custom league setup and the uniform editor(as the one in Diamond Dynasty)....will become standard for offline franchise mode.

But in the theme of historical themed DLC....if they could somehow add a set of crowds(eras....for instance a 1940's-50's type of crowd with men in hats and suits...women in dresses)...a 60's -70's type with guys/kids in button down shirts and porkpie hats(think Stand By Me) etc...

Add to that a way to make the game black and white or sepia....
...and to make the announcer team sound like an old time radio broadcast(tinny...with some crackle) ...and I'd be in heaven.

The only thing I would want is the future Rays stadium since it's never happening in real life at this point. That thing would be incredible to be able to use in game and I would pay an absurd amount to be able to use it with any team in franchise.

Just throwback things really. Old stadiums, old uniforms, and league structures with custom teams.

Every team should have at least one throwback stadium. I don't know what you would do for the Rays, or Diamondbacks, but the Yankees, Red Sox, and Cubs places are/were so old they have at least 3 different faces you could make into DLC.

EDIT: I guess that's the answer for the Rays. A future stadium.

For myself I wouldn't pay for more DLC. I really wouldn't pay for audio clips.

I remember MVP Baseball 2005 had an optional sepia tone for old games, and it was great.

Haha, and the announcers could have that old-time TV/Radio voice.

Of course, we'd need some old school uniform styles and gear as well. No helmet at the plate, etc.





As for me, I'd pay a (reasonable) price to have FULLY updated rosters, with new players having their picture, likeness, and name (audio) put into the game as each new roster download comes out.

I would go for uniforms & stadiums. I don't really care about the audio clips like in the main menu & so forth. I love the option of having a radio style broadcast while your playing or using the actual commentary that comes with the game. Just if they do it right & have enough commentary to keep it interesting. Almost a Vin Scully type broadcast, but with Knight's idea of a little pop & crackle. Also if they would have the option to move teams to different divisions or leagues at the start of a franchise than every so many years you can re-align or something.

If they did something like uniform packs for teams, I wouldn't mind it too much since it is a lot of extra artwork. I would like to see each team have four additional uniform sets, even if it meant $.99 per team. For example, in addition to what's in the game, the Rangers could have:

'66 Senators Home and Away
'85 Rangers Blue and Red Tops
'94 Rangers Home and Away
'01 Rangers Home and Blue Tops

Even the newer teams like Tampa could have the Tampa Smokers and Tarpons jerseys that they have used in the past. If they did something like that, I'd be interested.
