playing mlb the show throughout the winter?

I play every single game in my franchise, & I've played about 65. Of course I'm gonna be playing it into 2013. I was still playing 11 six months ago.

I will be. I like to start a new franchise at the end of the year and continue until the new game comes out in the spring.

Nothing like playing The Show with a hot cup of coffee while there is a snowstorm outside.

basically The Show(PS3),and NHL(360) are the only games I buy nowadays...... I play both all year round. I really enjoy both, and try and get into all the modes each game has to offer, as well as online play.

I will be I'm in August in my season with the jays. I also want to start a new season with the updated rosters also with the jays. And have a franshise with the tigers ( I'm a couple weeks in).

I have found the best way to play the Show. I was doing a franchise mode with the Brewers,and I wanted to hit in every game. I had gotten to the end of May and games were really becoming a chore. I work and go to school, and I want to enjoy the Show and my games have some meaning.

So, I just simmed a season mode to September. OMG, it's the greatest idea I ever had. I need good management skills because my guys play 5/6 of my games, but the games I play really matter. Also, since the sim engine gets a large percentage of my stats I don't need to panic about drawing walks, or stuff like that. My impact will be on the pennant race.

Currently though, it's not looking pretty. I began September with my Brewers 10.5 gb the Reds. FWIW the Dodgers entered September with 96 wins and Miguel Cabrera is hitting .370.

Yes!...Will be finishing my Tigers season...Only 70 games in. With a bunch more great games coming out, The Show will definitely be getting some love in the winter months....
