Well since they get better every year and don't lose any features, I would say 12 is the best. It has everything the previous years had, along with new stuff that the others didn't have.

MLB 12. I've owned since 10 and it has been an incremental improvement each year, and if you are someone who enjoys this game as a full experience of baseball, all these improvements really matter longer you play. I don't know about the other sports titles but since nothing really gets drastic change in the Show, you can always expect improvements. This to me is a good thing... just because something is overhauled and new doesn't mean it's an improvement.

This is one of the few sports game series' that has really gotten better every year. In my opinion Madden '09 for PS2 is way better than any of the PS3 Maddens. Every year it seems that the graphics get more cartoony, the game play becomes less fluent (in other sports games).

In MLB The Show, it is the total opposite. I agree with Nomo that it is probably because they don't try to make drastic changes from year to year. They just improve the little things every year. There are still flaws, but compared to the past years, you can really see a difference in graphics, gameplay, ect., in a positive way.

This is the one game (and recently NHL by EA)
that is always improving year to year
every installment i have played the next version has been better

i mean look at other games like Madden and PES both these games where better on previous consoles and that is just inexcusable

12 By far. These developers actually listen to the people. This is the best sport game series to ever come out IMO. They always spice things up and add new control. But they don't force you to change it, you still have the options to use previous year controls. (i.e. when pure anolog came out, they didn't force us to use it, we still had the option to use classic controls.)

Best game I have in my inventory, and hoping/ knowing that MLB 13 WILL be better, let's just say they've got my $60 every March!!!

Same here!..It's like automatic. Every March of the new year my butt is in line at the store buying the new version!. I think I have all the versions that came out since the first PS3 version, I think it was 2007? Love them all!

IMO, this is the best baseball game and it gets better every year..

I have to say the most enjoyment I've had was with '11. Beginning to end I don't remember getting annoyed at that game at all. '12 has had some trying times. My rtts was unplayable for about a month due to the patch malfunction. And now I am running into the pitch out glitch which is making me consider going back to 11.

That being said, the patch malfunction is long gone so if u are buying the game now u wouldn't have to deal with it. On the surface If u just wanted to play a single game I'd say 12 is the best. But as an overall long term play, I say 11 was more enjoyable for me

I picked up 12 quite late because I enjoyed 11 so much and I've only had the pleasure of owning 11 and 12. At first I was wishing I'd kept 11 but I now believe 12 is the better game overall. There are some things defense wise that really annoy me about 12 that I just don't remember from 11 but that's the only area where I feel where 12 is inferior. 12 has the edge in every other department for me.

Either way both are great games!

And we all know that SCEA does not remove things but there was 1 thing that worked in 11 that does not work in 12 and 1 thing actually removed....
