Depending on how Free Agency goes this winter what teams are going to be most popular to play as next year? I really think Cleveland might be a good team to look at just because they have Terry Francona.

Undoubtedly the LA Dodgers (as usual).

I skipped The Show 2012 because I was still so engrossed in my 2011 franchise, so I cannot wait for the 2013 edition to arrive - particularly given the signings we made this season.

The Astros are an appealing choice. While I'd prefer being able to create my own team and start from scratch with a fictional franchise, the closest thing to that would be opting for a team in rebuilding mode who are starting clean with a switch in leagues.

As usual, I will be playing as the Yankees. Although, I may want to play as the Nationals and Orioles if I'm not the Yankees!

I have created a new house rule for my franchise mode. I load Knights Rosters and make sure all settings are at default. Then I start my RTTS character and then enter the draft. Whatever team I get drafted for is the team that I play in my Franchise mode.

I always try to play a different team than that of the team I follow. I get so wrapped up in my team that I don't enjoy franchise as much. With a random team I actually seem to pay more attention and enjoy it a whole lot more. The randomness also appeals to me because that way I have no preconceived thoughts or strategies or even emotional ties to my franchise team.

I am on year 4 with the Indians and have been having a blast. I also dont sim at all or make any changes once my franchise starts. I treat it like an entirely different universe than the one going on in the real world.

i agree i usually can't make it through a season with the red sox but ive won multiple world series with the nats

I always roll with the Rangers, but I might try to do an Astros franchise and put one of the big name free agents on the club to spice it up.

IF i do get 13 (currently back with 08") i will probably play as the Oakland A's.

again that is if i get 13.

actually i will be getting 13 as i am now back playing 12 due to 08 failure to launch... and i am in love with 12 finally!!!

Yankees. As always.

Rolled with the Marlins in 2012...played a full 162 game season and faded down the stretch despite making a huge mid season trade for Cole Hammels.

Started a 1994 yankees season...loving it.

For 13....back to my Yankees.

I'm from New York, so Yankees as always.

Speaking of MLB 13 The Show...any idea when the first screen shots might be released? If history stays the same, the game is only about 4 months from being released, as it's usually a 1st or 2nd week of March release date. I'm dying for some info!

There's about a 50% chance I'll go with my Yankees, and a 50% that I'll go with one of the other 29 teams, but I think I'll have to wait and see what happens this offseason. Other than the Yankees, I like the Indians, Nats, O's, and Dodgers. Also considering Angels too, but I'm pretty much open to considering any team. There's not a definite "NO" for anyone. Suggestions?
