    Flyout Problem

    Sup guys,

I'm playing my RTTS 1st basemen and holy crap... Every time I hit it's a deep flyout our a popup. I mean everytime. I might get lucky and get a grounder threw a gap but it's rare. I alternate between contact, power, and normal swing. My sliders are the TNK (I believe thats it) sliders found on this forum. I'm not sure how to solve this issue. I'm getting sick of only flying out.

Any ideas or tips or anything?

Sorry if this is a repeat thread.

    Re: Flyout Problem

I know how you feel.. I'm also using TNKs Realism 2.0 sliders and it seems like my player has been in a slump ever since I got called up. Just about all you can do is work the count and try to time your swing correctly. Anytime I am early/late I automatically get a foul or popup, and sometimes you have to be willing to take a strike and wait for a better pitch to hit.

Also, I wouldn't use power swing very much, I just use regular swing and contact swing when I have 2 strikes.

EDIT: Here's a thread full of hittings tips.

Yes, I'm on PS3. I play with the strike zone off and guess pitch off as well. You can use guess pitch if you want but I prefer not to.(batting's probably easier with guess pitch, but I think it takes a bit of fun out of it)

              Re: Flyout Problem

I just figured it all out, lol.

              What I did:

              1. I switched from time swinging to Pure Analog.
              2. I turned the strike zone off
              3. I turned off Guess Pitch
              4. Turned off swing info

              My results:
              3 RBI Double
              3 RBI HR

              2-5 with 6 RBI's in the game

That's good. I've tried Pure Analog, just can't get the hang of it.

I sat in HR Derby for a while with Miggy from the Tigers. I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I stride when I see him break his hand from his glove. So far good results.

My AVG went up to .385 and I advanced to Triple-A and I was chosen to represent the USA in the 2012 futures game. Lol

Feel free to add me on PSN if you have Pure Analog questions:

Guess pitch does exactly what you described. I ran an experiment. I guessed low fastball every pitch for a month in my season ( in game month ) and all I did was ground out and pop out 90% of the time and I was using the Yankees. It's probably because I wasn't using guess pitch how it was intended to be used, but I like the game a lot more with it off anyway.

Guess Pitch is awful. I went from batting .200 in double A with Guess Pitch on and when I disabled it I advanced to Triple A and am now batting .400 and doubled my RBI's
