Does anyone know if the weather system was improved this year? It really annoyed me to see every play wearing long sleeves in May and June. It's not a big thing for me, but I would loved to see it fixed.

I hope, my players were wearing long sleeves during night games in July last year. There were even long sleeves during the All Star game.

I've been wondering this since I got the show and haven't figured it out yet...but does weather have an affect on the ball at all? Like say you're playing the first couple weeks (I play with the tigers so it's not that warm in Detroit in April) say its 40 degrees and you hit a what you thought was a bomb and it dies before going over the wall, does the colder weather have any effect on the ball flight??

This is one part of the game that the dev's have been silent on for some time. Maybe it's a technical thing.

There is a work around so every player doesn't wear long sleeves. Annoying indeed , but fixable.

If I have one gripe about this game, then this is it. No matter when I edited their sleeves, they would always wear long sleeves in the dead summer night when it was in the high 70's low-mid 80's.

What is the work around? This long sleeve issue has been the most annoying thing about this game, you edit players for wristbands etc and you can't see them in night games.

I don't interpret it as annoying when I play, but since the rest of the game is so well done, it does stand out.

You shouldn't be seeing long sleeves unless the temperature is below 65 (may be 60) degrees. That's the threshold...

they should lower that to 50/45... Me personally I live in oregon and wear shorts and t-shirt all year round (dips in the 30's) and I'm fine 65 is short sleeve weather in baseball

I think that plays into players auto having long sleeves. They should lower the threshold down to 40/45 degrees and change the temps so that theirs not so many games below freezing which you don't see in 98% of the games anyway. Have the hitters and pitchers be on the same level because it seems like the pitchers will always have long sleeves during night games when the players don't which is not accurate.

I agree that the threshold should be lowered even further. My response was more to the guys who said they were seeing everyone wearing long sleeves when the temps are in the 70s and 80s... that just doesn't happen, in game.

Though weather affects real baseball, it doesn't do anything in The Show. It's time to bring that element that really brings realism to a whole new level. Make it an option so that everyone is happy. I'm sure they can't do it on the PS3 now this late in the game but it should be a top priority on the PS4 if they truly want to say they have surpassed what every baseball game has done to date!

Without naming, there was a game that had weather that would change, it affected the game play, it had rain delays, rain cancellations, double-headers so it has been done and done very well.

The issue is, I don't think they want it in their game and that is what will always keep this game from ultimate greatness. Sure they have virtually all areas covered but weather that impacts the game, changes during the game just takes what they have done to an all new level above what they have now.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Show and will be a first day buy as always but IT IS TIME!
