Can I just say, I hate these hats. Not the ones SCEA made, but the ones MLB chose for 2013.

What was wrong with the ones from last year? I was collecting those.
I got to 16 and now youre changing them? SMDH!

Apparently they wanted them to look more like "game" hats. Some teams are planning to use these as alt hats for games this year. Some of them are nice but others are just plain bad.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cardinals went this route. Sure, the red hat looks great with the creme alts, but it can't be a mere coincidence that the BP hat is modeled after the '42 hat and the creme uniforms are modeled after the '42 uniforms. It was meant to be.

But The Show didn't add the new "Interview" hats...they are hideous. But they have on field interviews now with the players wearing the wrong hats! Such a shame...

Is MLB requiring all teams to wear these hats for the Spring Training games this year? I may be wrong, but it seems like the Tigers have always worn their regular caps in Spring Training.

The Cardinals haven't done it. So no, they aren't required.
